A big because of you to everyone that came out and helped last week with
Laying the heating pipes. The more volunteers we get, the less we have to
Pay for laborers. So, say thank you you very much.
We are just about there, we are now in the final stages, we will be laying the
Turf starting this Tuesday, October 28th, 9 am.
We are looking for anyone that can support us, from Tuesday through till Friday.
Work will be starting at 9 am and meet right through until about 9 pm every
Day. If you can donate a few hours of your time, we would much find worthwhile.
Come on down and help your Community in the realization that we will soon be
Playing a brand of sports in our new Adidas Indoor Sportsplex.

UC Santa Barbara dominant at WCRHL Kickoff Event
The UC Santa Barbara Rolling-pin Hockey Club starts the season with a 12-0 track record. This is the best overall record for all clubs in the WCRHL this opportunity ripe. Likewise, the UCSB club started the 2007-2008 plan with 10 wins, 1 loss and 1 tie.
This season they had a harder listing than the last, with the Division I team defeating archrival Cal Poly San Luis Obispo by a 6-4 scrape, and games against 3 other opponents that UCSB had never seen in WCRHL fortnightly season play. UCSB defeated San Diego Voice 5-3, El Camino College 11-1, and CSU Northridge 10-0. The UCSB B Gold cooperate defeated Sonoma State B, Cal Poly SLO B, Saddleback College B, and UC San Diego B with a combined end differential of +26. The UCSB B Blue pair defeated Cal Poly SLO B Gold, Sonoma State B, UC San Diego B and UC Davis B with a +22 ideal differential.
All three UCSB teams looked substantial, much of which can be attributed to their on-campus roller hockey rink that doubles as a multi-vim court for indoor soccer, basketball, volleyball and other sports. The rink is about 10-15 feet wider than example roller hockey rinks, and the teams practice multiple times weekly, often at 7am before stock, since rink time is at a premium due to the popularity of intramural indoor soccer and other activities.
Also in Partition I play, UC Irvine has come out with a strong start, fetching all 4 of their games and outscoring opponents 36-17. UNLV follows UCI and UCSB closely with a 3-1 accomplishment, while Long Beach State sits at 2-2. UC Irvine is led by Mike and Jordan Tasch, who are averaging over 4 points per gutsy. They played a back and forth game against new rival Hanker Beach State, with UCI coming out on top by a score of 9-7, with Lengthy Beach State opening the scoring 2-0, UCI scoring 5 put straight goals to take a 5-2 lead, Long Beach Governmental scoring 3 to remain even.
