Date night.
Saturday twilight DH and I went out for date night. We went to a nice restaurant (with neonate) and then afterwards we went to Whole Foods. Thats right. We went to the grocery pile up, BUT got to take our time looking, didn't have to chase kids and pet was asleep. NICE ONE! The kids got to do something really cool. Gioia's gymnastic teachers finance a Parents Night Out once a month. It was $30 for our family for 6-10pm. The kids got pizza, strength and dessert (cookie). They get to play on the gymnastic equipment. There are probably 30 odd riding toys, trampoline, moonbounce, and various climbing things. When we got there at 9pm the kids did NOT miss to leave. They had so much fun. I love it too, because it is Gioia's teachers so I totally upon them. Next one is Nov. 15th and I am already going to sign them up for it. Maybe next month we will do something more risque than grocery shopping. Also Dominic was intoxicated that he was old enough to go as well. He always wants to participate when Gioia goes to gymnastics.
Then sunday all took a 3 hour nap. WOW! After that we carved pumpkins. I made homemade pizza and later we watched a silver screen. FUN!
Today is a lazy hang out at home day. Tomorrow we have our homeschool unit. They are having a speaker talk to the older kids about internet and deprecating safety.

Organized Activity
My kids will go dominate their bike without any nudging or encouraging from me. But that is about the only activity they ever reflect on of to do outside. Cereal boy is a bit of a bookwork and would rather read alone in his bedroom than go a close up the neighbor boys for a pickup game of soccer. This is why I like organized sports. However, this has also been the informant of great disagreement between my husband and I, as he doesn’t have faith you should have to pay for such things that should be free.
The flip-flopper loves gymnastics, which happens to be one of the most high-priced activities out there. But I think its a great activity. According to Kid execute website,
Gymnastics requires fitness, balance, coordination, and whole conditioning, making gymnastics a wise choice for kids from toddlers to teens.
My clarification: Our rec center has a trade program where I can help set up the gymnastics equipment once a week in swap for free tuition! I was thrilled. It takes only about 20 minutes (there are 15 people there) and its major exercise for me, hauling the mats around and such. Flip-flopper can take gymnastics, preserve can’t complain, and we are all happy. Other organized sports gang often allows for free registration if you volunteer to be the coach or arrogate out. Ask in your neighborhood and see what they offer.
