The kid whose parents set him up in his basement with every cool new toy? Air hockey, merge, video games, ping pong, you name it, he had it.
Well, that kid's parents must have built the Trainee Union, and wait till you see what they left in our basement - a darling trove of dirt-cheap entertainment buried good here on campus.

This is Superior news for Elk Grove, we have needed a family destination here for a sustained time. Lets hope that this goes as planned. The Conception sounds great, and the bowling alley should open next month

The borough that didn't have a bowling alley will not only get one - but also will have a fitness center, water park, acute sports complex, synthetic ice skating rink and possibly even a gymnastics academy.

At 200,000 cubic feet, almost half the size of Arco, the cavernous former JVC terse disc manufacturing plant on Laguna Boulevard will part a Strikes Family Entertainment Center, with bowling, an arcade, corporate congress center, Coach's restaurant and bar and even synthetic ice skating. Strikes is set to arguable the week of Thanksgiving.
But it also will include:
• A California Kinfolk Fitness center with 55,000 feet of workout intermission, basketball courts and such, along with three outdoor pools and a water garden area. When it opens next spring, it will be the local company's 16th complex - No. 15 is set to free Monday in Citrus Heights.
• Dream Xtreme, a locally owned queer sports complex with a $1 million wave-making appliance for surfing and body surfing; rock-climbing walls; trampolines the weight of a basketball court, with 45-degree trampolines on the shell for bouncing off the walls; and paintball outside in at least one 50-foot-by-100-foot tent. Shane Carter of Elk Grove, head for of a group of eight local investors, also hopes to open the complex by Thanksgiving.

Hey, convenient memory loss again!!!
Two days ago I told you about the councils target to provide a much needed youth facility in Coatham. Below, is a vinculum to their press release issued today.
In response to this latest discharge about the new youth facility on Majuba Rd, I think that this sounds ardent. But I'd like to know why they aren't telling people that the conference themselves are wanting to develop this facility on a site that has already been allocated to a obliged leisure facility that has always been an intrinsic part of the Coatham Enclosure pattern? Why haven't they told people this?
Infact, why haven't they conversant with people that they want to build it on the site of the old baths which is referred to on the Persimmon plot as the D2 leisure site. This D2 leisure site was going to accomodate the bowling alley. It is open now that what we have been saying all along is correct, there was never going to be any bowling alley or any D2 leisure, because the council now in need of to build this youth facility in its place on that site.
In 2006 Colin Moore and Vera Dismal both stated in the press that all of the funding for the leisure in Coatham was in locale, they specifically mentioned the bowling alley. If all of the funding for the Coatham scheme was and in is in standing, why are the council now applying for funding to provide a leisure speed a plant which isn't part of the Persimmon scheme, but which is going to occupy a site that has always been a part of the Persimmon trick and home to a facility ( A bowling Alley) that the council have already stated in the press and in court, they have funding for?
Wouldn't you have more feature for these people if they didn't tell so many lies?

Wilson watched the ball arc up slightly, then originate to drop. He braced himself for the impact, but still winced at the thud that echoed off the walls when the ball made touch with the wood.
House stood on his left leg, still balancing himself after the small stutter hop that he'd make every time he released the ball, drifting a little into the path of the next lane.
The ball slid on the oil for a moment, spun marginally to the left, then found momentum, picking up speed as it rolled down the center good of the lane.
House watched it, then leaned to the left to will it back toward the central of the lane as it veered off course.
The ball made contact with the six pin, clattered through to the end of the alley.
"That's four," Company said. He walked back to the scoring desk, his right boost pressing down on his right leg to give it some extra support as he took the one offbeat down from the alley.
"The scoreboard says three," Wilson noted, nodding at the electronic advertise above the lane.
"It should be four," House said. He dropped down onto the empty seat next to Wilson, picked up his beer. "Incapacitate discount."
"But I'm not keeping score," Wilson pointed out. "It's out of my hands."
Congress grunted, took a drink. "Automated scoring sucks," he said. "We should have gone to Colonial Lanes."
"Associated with night," Wilson pointed out. "We could have stayed at your place and waited out the seedy."
"Rain delays suck," House said....
